Amstelveen, The Netherlands, 26 January, 2009: Canon expands its range of Personal Digital Copiers with the launch of a new flagship: the PC-D450. With over 10 million Canon Personal Copiers already sold, the PC-D450 inherits generations of Canon copier know-how. Featuring double-sided copying as standard, copy speeds of 22 cpm, and a First Copy Out Time (FCOT) of 9 seconds or less, the PC-D450 delivers market-leading performance. To meet the needs of small businesses and offices who frequently have to reproduce both sides of an original, the new PC-D450 features a productive 50-sheet Duplex ADF and duplex print engine, providing rapid copying of multiple two-sided originals at up to 22 cpm. Double-sided printing also saves on paper and significantly reduces wastage. A range of dedicated copy features are available through the user-friendly interface panel. These include reduce and enlarge, 2-on-1 copy, electronic collation and Canon’s new ID Card Copy function (useful for tourism and official purposes), which copies both sides of an ID card or similar small document onto a single side.
