Owners of EOS, Digital IXUS, PowerShot, SELPHY, and LEGRIA products can now take advantage of 2GB storage capacity to upload hundreds of high-quality pictures. With the freedom to view photos via mobile phone - as well as online - images can be shared with friends and family wherever they are in the world. From October 2009 the Online Photo Album storage capacity available to users will be increased, from the current 100 MB, to 2 GB. Compatible with WAP 2.0 mobile phones, images are shared with friends and family by simply sending a link directly to their phones. The service is great for keeping people up-to-date with your photographic adventures, even when they’re away from a computer.PIXMA Album Printing is a useful new feature for owners of Canon PIXMA inkjet printers. Albums created on CANON iMAGE GATEWAY can be shared - along with captions and different layout options - so friends and family can create and print their own high-quality record of your online albums. CANON iMAGE GATEWAY is a great way to share movies via the Video Podcast feature. Users can easily upload and share movies shot on Canon digital cameras or camcorders, whilst software provided converts the movies into an internet friendly format. Once uploaded to CANON iMAGE GATEWAY, movies can then be easily downloaded using Apple’s iTunes™, and transferred to an iPhone™ or iPod™ to be enjoyed on the move.
